  13. Although some official at Digita wouldn`t believe me :) I am suffering from
  14. major problems with WordWorth5 - in fact it occured with 3.1, too.
  15.  
  16. The problem is that WW simply crashes after I`m using it for several
  17. minutes - sometimes not even enough to make a new template and saving it :)
  18. When it crashes, the whole screen is full of vertival stripes from
  19. Wordworth`s palette. Then the machine resets and shows a 8...4 failure.

  21. I tried it with PICASSO=TRUE and =FALSE (as somebody told me to do to avoid
  22. this problem), but it still crashed.

  24. WW is a great program, but I simply can`t use it crashing every few
  25. minutes.
  26. I have NO patches running or any other problematic piece of software.
  27. Anyway, as WW seems to run fine on several 030 including my A12oo with the
  28. SAME!!! system installed (it runs a copy of my "big" machine only with the
  29. neccessary modifications) and 040 (inlcuding my machine before the 060
  30. upgrade, too), it seems that it has something to do with the processor.

  32. I must admit that I was a bit disappointed about the email of this official
  33. (something like: we never noticed this problem -> must be on your side).
  34. I`ve got certain knowledge about programming, hardware, beta-testing and
  35. searching for bugs and it`s not very nice to see such a well-known company
  36. treating customers this way :(
  37. BTW. We`re not all "first-timers" out here...

  39. I`ll still support Digita because I was very pleased in the past, but I`d
  40. like to see them treating people a bit more sensitive, especially if
  41. they`re suufering from problems which make it IMPOSSIBLE to work with the
  42. product...
